Yam- 3 slices

Minced Meat -1 medium pack

Scotch bonnet-6

Onion-1 bulb

Vegetable oil -3 cooking spoons

Sausages -2 (sliced into thin cuts

Green bell pepper-1(medium)


Carrot-1 (medium)


Some Salt

Thyme-A pinch

Water – 2 Cooking spoons

Cucumber -1 (Small)

Green peas :2 table spoons or as desired

Mode of preparation

  • Fry minced meat till a bit brown set aside,fry sausages with 1 cooking spoon of oil set aside,slice carrot and cucumber set aside,blend peppers and tomatoes set aside,wash green peas set aside,slice onion set aside.

Step 1

Peel ,cut and wash the yams thoroughly,put in a pot,add some water to cover the yams (not too much water,just a bit above the yams)add some salt boil for 10 minutes or until soft ,sieve the water,set aside.

Step 2

Put a pot on fire,add 2 cooking spoons of vegetable oil,when the oil is hot,add the sliced onions,fry it for about 30 seconds,add the blended pepper mixture.

Step 3

Add the seasoning,stir,leave the pot open ,keep stirring so it does not get burnt.

Step 4

Add the minced meat,stir,add thyme keep stirring,add the green peas,add a little water if too thick,taste for salt,add a little if needed.

Step 5

Add the diced carrot,let it simmer for 2 minutes,add the green pepper,cook for 2 seconds. Put off the fire,serve your scrumptious meal ,garnish as desired,you can invite me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
